Job Summary
Supporting the CodeCraft team in daily operations of the software development infrastructure within BMW's E division; gathering and documenting requirements from stakeholders; structuring, maintaining, and preparing backlog items for operational use; assisting with preparing and programming structures, reports, roadmaps, and timeline overviews using Jira, Confluence, and SQL; coordinating tasks with external DevOps partners including meeting prep, documentation, and follow-ups; analyzing user touchpoints to derive insights for continuous improvement; contributing to ongoing improvements of CodeCraft services and processes.
Required Qualifications
- Studies in computer science, IT, IT project management, business informatics, or a related field
- Interest in software development platforms, IT infrastructure, and DevOps environments
- Programming skills and knowledge of scripting or data analysis such as Python or SQL
- First theoretical or practical exposure to agile methods or software engineering
- Structured working style, reliability, and attention to detail
- Good analytical skills and clear written communication
- Business-fluent German and English skills
