Job Summary
Manage an assigned shift or site by overseeing daily workflow, scheduling cleaners, and conducting regular walk-throughs and cleaning inspections. Interview, hire, and train janitorial staff while taking proactive steps to ensure a safe and secure environment for both staff and visitors. Maintain effective communication with clients and facility personnel to verify that security contract requirements are satisfied. Fill in when needed to perform other related duties. A manufacturing supervision background is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must have cleaning or housekeeping experience
- 2-5 years of supervisory experience in the janitorial field
- Experience managing janitorial operations
- Proven experience motivating and training staff
- Sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines; self-directed
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and achieve effective time management
- Strong service/quality mindset
- Professionalism
- Proven computer skills
Desired Qualifications
- Manufacturing Supervision Background preferred
