Job Summary
Lead daily direction for crew on self-performed scopes, balancing hands-on site work with planning, coaching, and administrative duties. Perform quality checks before tasks begin, communicate material and equipment requirements, and complete take-offs to align deliveries with schedules. Manage roadblocks, team capacity, and scheduling to ensure on-time completion of work spanning foundation through finishing. Direct and mentor carpenters and labourers while attending daily foreman meetings to align priorities with site leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years leadership experience in multi-family construction
- Journeyman Carpenter (or equivalent skill set) with ability to manage multiple scopes of work
- Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Comfortable using standard computer programs (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Bluebeam)
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation
- Satisfactory credit and criminal record check

- Advanced First Aid
- Ticketed on skid steer, rough terrain forklift, boom lifts, and/or excavator
