Job Summary
Direct personnel and execute system-wide technical assignments for the installation, acceptance testing, maintenance, and repair of protective relay systems, including IEDs, SCADA, PLCs, and pole-top reclosers. Ensure work completion in a safe, timely manner while supervising employees, providing training, and developing improved operational procedures. Interpret company policies and analyze information to make informed decisions regarding work assignments. Requires valid driver's license and availability for emergency restoration assignments and travel between MA, CT, and NH.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Electronic/Engineering Technology or equivalent
- Minimum of three (3) years of related experience
- Valid driver's license
- Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required
- Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary
- Thorough understanding and complete knowledge of testing and troubleshooting methods of protection and control systems/equipment used by Eversource
- Thorough understanding of the operation, maintenance and software applications of the various protection systems and test equipment that support the transmission and distribution operational functions
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communications skills (both written and oral)
