Job Summary
Conduct installation, acceptance testing, maintenance, and repair of protective relay systems, including IEDs, SCADA, and PLCs. Provide direction to personnel and supervise training for employees on system-wide technical assignments. Plan, schedule, and review work while ensuring completion in a safe, timely manner. Analyze operational methods to develop improved procedures and interpret company policies. Interpret Company policies, procedures and practices.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Electronic/Engineering Technology or equivalent
- Minimum of three (3) years of related experience
- Valid driver's license
- Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required
- Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary
- Thorough understanding and complete knowledge of testing and troubleshooting methods of protection and control systems/equipment used by Eversource
- Thorough understanding of the operation, maintenance and software applications of the various protection systems and test equipment that support the transmission and distribution operational functions
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communications skills (both written and oral)
