Job Summary
Green Jobs Workforce Trainee role under JumpStart program supports entry-level tasks across clean energy and skilled-trades settings (electrical, HVAC, solar, weatherization, and construction). Duties include assisting with job site setup/cleanup, basic inventory, supporting trades staff with routine tasks under supervision, safety training participation, and attending JumpStart workshops (Climate 101, Clean Energy 101, New Hire Orientation). The position emphasizes hands-on, paid work experience, development of workplace skills (punctuality, teamwork, communication, problem solving), and progression toward unsubsidized employment or apprenticeship. Location is Seattle, WA; in-person work arrangement. Pay is $25.00/hour, temporary and program-based (up to 240 hours across 6 weeks full-time or 12 weeks part-time).
