Workforce Relations Lead Consultant (Bilingual)

Job Summary
Conduct independent investigations into complex allegations of discrimination, harassment, and inappropriate conduct while advising leaders and employees to resolve workplace conflicts. Analyze employee relations trends and collaborate with legal, organizational talent advisors, and HR centers of excellence to assess risks and mitigate workforce relations issues. Manage a high volume of cases including disciplinary actions and terminations in compliance with Canadian employment laws, and oversee workforce transition processes from initial coaching to employee notifications. Utilize data-driven storytelling to present actionable recommendations on performance management and organizational change initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in both French and English (written and verbal)
- Ability to conduct interviews, investigations, consultations, and prepare documentation in both languages
- Extensive experience conducting complex employee relations and workplace investigations from intake through resolution
- Demonstrated expertise in Canadian employment law, employee relations practices, and workforce relations processes
- Proven ability to independently manage a high volume of investigations and provide recommendations on disciplinary actions and employment decisions
- Experience partnering with Legal, HRBPs, Payroll, HR COEs, and business leaders on complex employee matters
- Solid experience in analyzing workforce relations data and translating findings into actionable recommendations and business insights
- Ability to quickly establish credibility as a trusted advisor and operate with a high degree of autonomy
- Previous experience supporting enterprise-wide employee populations across Canada
- Solid skills in English for effective regular communication with clients, advisors, or employees
