Job Summary
Oversee classroom activities and training support for Career PATHS Workforce Development Centers, ensuring client engagement and successful completion of required program activities. Facilitate programs at the Department of Corrections while maintaining adherence to facility rules, security requirements, and specific DOC guidelines. Monitor key performance indicators for client engagement and results, utilizing technology to track program activities, participants, volunteers, and grants. Collaborate with program management teams and external instructors to support curriculum facilitation and project goal achievement.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent years of experience
- 2-3 years of case management, adult education, non-profit program management or other relative experience
- Ability to clear DOC visitor background clearance process
- Comfortable leading or facilitating training and group discussion sessions
- Equally comfortable interacting with currently and formerly incarcerated individuals
- Ability to work cooperatively with staff, volunteers, and Departments of Corrections
- Ability to move wrists, hands, and/or fingers in a repetitive motion
- Ability to continuously stand, walk, reach, kneel, bend, stoop, push/pull, and sit
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
Desired Qualifications
- Career counseling, addiction/recovery/trauma counseling education or experience a plus
