Workforce Development Program Supervisor - Campus

Job Summary

Lead day-to-day oversight of assigned programs like Virtual Training and Opportunity Accelerator, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and regulatory requirements. Supervise staff performance through bi-weekly SMART goal check-ins, monitor enrollment and placement metrics, and address concerns promptly while providing flexible coverage during absences. Develop systems for internal audits, file documentation, and state reporting; maintain active advisory committees for quarterly curriculum reviews. Cultivate relationships with community agencies and employers to enhance program visibility and referrals, while participating in job fairs and outreach events. Complete required HR LMS training, attend weekly staff meetings, and submit timely performance reports on student outcomes and grant deliverables. Maintain confidentiality of participant data and perform additional duties assigned to support department success.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Must be able to work at a fast pace to achieve outcomes
  • Must be able to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc.
  • Required to have own transportation to off-site facilities
  • Communication capabilities, via cell phone and/or Smartphone technology
  • Documentation to satisfy I-9 requirements
  • Ability to pass drug screen
  • Ability to pass background check

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree or in process
  • Prior supervisory experience in the workforce development industry
  • Experience working with people with disabilities or who are disadvantaged
  • Experience in job development, recruitment, financial aid and job placement services for individuals facing multiple employment barriers
  • Self-starter
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with other team members
  • Proficient in standard computer operation systems (Microsoft Office)
  • Proficient in relevant software to perform the requirements of the position
  • Bilingual proficiency
