Workforce Development Manager

Job Summary
Select new hires and partner with the talent team to ensure smooth onboarding transitions. Act as a coach and developer of talent, keeping certifications current and expanding licensing through frequent communications with field personnel. Visit various projects to encourage safe and productive behavior while providing feedback and coaching at management and team member levels to drive retention and enhance performance. Partner with Talent and Operations teams to optimize recruiting, selection, and team member relations. Create positive community relationships to establish a pipeline of perspective team members and oversee the execution of performance evaluation processes for all field team members. Manage a manpower pool of 50-100 team members to ensure current and future workforce needs are met.
Required Qualifications
- Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Confidentiality
- Proficiency in use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 to 4 years of progressive administrative/field experience in the Operations or Construction industry
- Associate Degree
- 6 months to 1 year of progressive administrative/field experience in the Operations or Construction industry
- 20% travel
- Availability for work hours between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday
- Availability to work at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs
- Ability to pass a background and drug test
- Legal right to work in the United States (E-Verify participation)
