Job Summary

Conduct participant intakes, assessments, and goal setting to develop individualized service plans for career development, employment services, and financial education. Facilitate workshops on workplace readiness, digital literacy, and financial literacy while monitoring progress toward established goals. Provide ongoing support through job search assistance, interview preparation, and employment retention coaching to achieve long-term economic mobility. Build and maintain relationships with employers, workforce agencies, and community organizations to coordinate career fairs and expand employment opportunities. Manage an active caseload with accurate documentation and ensure compliance with agency and funding requirements. Represent Logan Heights Community Development Corporation throughout San Diego County while serving diverse communities with a focus on trauma-informed care.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in workforce development
  • Experience in career coaching
  • Experience in employment services
  • Experience in financial education
  • Experience in case management
  • Comfort working independently in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
  • Pass a background check

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Experience working with underserved or trauma-informed populations
  • Facilitating workshops
  • Building employer partnerships
  • Utilizing Salesforce or similar case management systems
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
