Job Summary
Supervise multiple teams of examiners and technical staff for disability claims, provide training and jurisdictional direction on examiner reports, monitor workloads, and maintain quality standards. Act as second level of appeal for client and claimant issues, review reserves on high-cost claims, and sustain professional client relationships. Ensure licensing compliance across jurisdictions, oversee accurate coding and documentation of claim files, and support continuous process improvement and quality programs. Requires strong leadership, analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage performance and coordinate with clients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Licenses as required; professional certifications as applicable to line of business preferred
- Six (6) years of claims experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Two (2) years of claims supervisory experience preferred
- Thorough knowledge of claims management procedures and processes for disability
