Workforce Absence Payroll Coordinator

Job Summary
Process payroll actions based on leave status changes and ensure accurate, timely data entry into the payroll and time and attendance system. Interpret the leave and disability claims data coding hierarchy to apply correct codes, then review reports for claim accuracy and balance the colleague time card file per client policy. Respond to inquiries from Human Resources and internal business partners regarding plan provisions and administrative procedures while assisting with absence program evaluations and special projects. This role supports the organization's quality program within Sedgwick's global risk and claims administration team.
Required Qualifications
- Two (2) years of administrative support experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor's degree with business or computer related courses from an accredited university or college
- Working knowledge of leave of absence, workers' compensation, and disability leave regulations
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
- Analytical and interpretive skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
