Workface Planner (Piping/Mechanical)

Job Summary
Workface Planner (Piping/Mechanical) will develop Installation Work Packages (IWPs) for Piping/Mechanical installations, prepare Material Take-offs (MTOs), support office construction activities, conduct constructability reviews, and provide input to engineering and procurement to improve Total Installed Cost (TIC). Major responsibilities include creating IWPs and 90-Day release plans with the superintendent/field engineer, reviewing work scope and resources, coordinating with discipline engineers, performing random checks of IWPs, understanding Work Packaging and WBS, monitoring schedule and quality, attending progress meetings, and preparing drawings/deliverables such as PID and installation details, vendor drawings, inspection/test records, and readiness packages. Requires collaboration with project controls and field teams, delivery of IWPs in line with project priorities, and ensuring readiness reviews per program. Education/Experience: bachelor's degree and 5-8 years (or 9-12 years equivalent) in piping/mechanical installation; ASME B31.3/B31.1 knowledge; strong communication and MS Office skills; able to perform field inspections under challenging conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in piping installation on large Oil & Gas projects / process industry projects
- Shall have an experience of preparation of piping Installation work packages and piping test work packages
- Proficient in reading drawings, interpret design, specifications and industry standards and codes
- Shall have a knowledge of ASME B31.3/B31.1
- Excellent communications skills
- Proficient MS Office applications
- Experience in piping and Equipment installation
