Workers' Compensation Litigation Paralegal

Job Summary
Litigation Paralegal at Morgan & Morgan supporting attorneys across trials and pre/post-trial phases. Responsibilities include preparing pleadings, motions, affidavits, and complaints; E-filing court documents; communicating with clients, courts, and counsel; conducting legal research and factual investigations; preparing discovery documents and responses; drafting and serving summons; coordinating and summarizing depositions; preparing trial binders and exhibits; drafting pleadings, motions, and appellate documents; handling calendar hearings and deadlines; organizing case files and logistics; maintaining pleadings and discovery indexes; gathering information from various sources; liaising between trial teams and third parties; witness preparation; assisting with case settlements; and other tasks as requested by attorneys. Qualifications include an Associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience (preferred); 2+ years of litigation experience (preferred); completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program (preferred); experience in Personal Injury, WC, Premises, or other injury-related practice areas (preferred); strong multitasking, organizational, and communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; and typing at least 35 wpm. Not remote eligible.
Required Qualifications

- 2+ years of litigation experience (preferred)
- Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program (preferred)
- Experience in Personal Injury, WC, Premises, or other injury related practice areas (preferred)
