Conduct workers' compensation litigation in Florida, including analyzing cases, conducting discovery, and litigating hearings, motions, and trials. Prepare reports for adjusters detailing case developments, strategy, and exposure, while drafting briefs and motions. Work independently to complete assignments and provide client recommendations on case strategy and exposure. Maintain solid knowledge of the litigation process and demonstrate strong research and analytical skills. FL licensure required; car necessary for deposition and courtroom appearances. Required Qualifications
- 1 - 3 years of experience with FL workers' compensation litigation experience
- FL licensed attorney
- Car
- Able to analyze, conduct discovery, litigate and make client recommendations concerning cases
- Demonstrate solid knowledge and expertise in the litigation process
- Requires report writing to adjusters to keep them advised concerning case developments, strategy and exposure
- research and legal writing for briefs, motions, etc
- Relevant experience, knowledge and ability to work on and complete assignments well and independently
- Excellent communication, research and analytical skills
