Job Summary
Manage workers' compensation claims throughout the claim lifecycle, investigating losses and making compensability decisions. Collaborate with claimants, employers, attorneys, medical providers, and vendors to identify recovery opportunities, fraud concerns, and litigation strategies. Negotiate settlements and work toward quality claim outcomes, driving timely resolutions from assignment through final closure. This role requires an active adjuster license or ability to obtain one, with support for licensing costs and continuing education. Based in New Jersey with a hybrid schedule of two remote days and three in-office days, the position offers a salary range of $50,000 to $80,000.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of NJ loss time workers compensation experience including litigated claims handling
- High School Diploma/GED
- Active adjuster license or willingness and ability to obtain and maintain all required state licenses
