Job Summary
Worker’s Compensation Claims Specialist II handles single and multi-party Workman’s Compensation claims of moderate to high exposure and complexity within specific authority limits. Responsibilities include documenting claims data, determining liability and coverage, developing case strategy and reserves, assessing damages, negotiating settlements within authority, maintaining quality and customer service, managing vendor relationships, ensuring legal compliance, supporting subrogation and fraud referrals, and contributing to profitable growth. Requires a Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years in Claims/Insurance or equivalent, adjuster license, and strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills; position is Hybrid in multiple US locations (Parsippany, MA, CT, DE, ME, MD, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, VT, VA, DC, WV). The salary range is $59,900 - $98,200 with potential bonuses; includes comprehensive benefits and total rewards. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and 3 or more years of experience in the Claims or Insurance area
- Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice, including an associate degree and 3 or more years of experience in Claims or Insurance area
- Completion of Zurich Claims Training Program and 2 or more years of experience in the Claims or Insurance area
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5 or more years of experience in the Claims or Insurance area
- Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s)
- Knowledge of insurance regulations, markets and products
- Microsoft Office experience
