Manage moderate to high complexity commercial claims by verifying policy coverage, conducting investigations, and authorizing disbursements within authority limits. Interact professionally with insureds and claimants to provide updates, resolve inquiries, and achieve quality and cycle time standards. Establish reserves by interpreting policy language, partnering with coverage counsel, and evaluating potential claim valuations. Gather pertinent information including contracts and recorded statements to determine compensability, liability, and covered damages. Identify subrogation or salvage opportunities and refer complex matters to Recovery or SIU resources. Mentor less experienced professionals and maintain compliance with state and local regulatory requirements.
