Workers Compensation Claims Specialist, Complex & Settlement Focus

Manage moderate to high complexity commercial workers’ compensation claims, including investigation, verification of coverage, reserve estimation, and selection of settlement strategies. Communicate with insureds, claimants, and business partners; authorize disbursements within authority; identify subrogation opportunities and potential fraud; maintain compliance with state/local regulations and company guidelines; may mentor less experienced claim professionals. Requires collaboration with coverage counsel on complex matters and handling future medical claims in the Workers’ Compensation line. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and an active or soon-to-be Insurance Adjuster License are required; CPCU a plus. Hybrid work setup available at listed California locations.
