Job Summary
Analyzes and processes complex workers' compensation claims to determine benefits, negotiates settlements within authority, and manages reserves, payments, and litigation processes. Handles subrogation and recoveries, coordinates with vendors for investigations or litigation, and ensures accurate documentation, coding, and client communication. Requires experience in CA workers' compensation claims handling, proficiency with cost containment strategies, and strong collaboration and problem-solving skills. Hybrid work arrangement with location in Brea, CA.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
- Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred
- California workers' compensation claims handling experience | SIP certified preferred
