Workers Compensation Claims Consultant, West

Senior-level Workers Compensation Claims Consultant responsible for managing highly complex commercial claims with significant exposure. Performs investigations into coverage, liability, compensability and damages, determines settlement versus litigation strategy, and coordinates discovery and litigation with counsel. Requires advanced negotiation and communication skills to present settlement packages, manage loss costs and claim expenses, and provide guidance to less-experienced staff. Collaborates with attorneys, account representatives, agents, doctors and insureds; stays current on regulations and industry trends; analyzes claims activities and produces management reports. Familiarity with subrogation, salvage, and data integrity in claims systems, plus strong analytical, problem-solving, and MS Office proficiency. Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; typically 8 years claims experience; professional designation preferred. This role is hybrid with multiple U.S. locations listed.
