Job Summary
Support the Washington workers' compensation claims management for state fund employers by assisting WC Claims Managers with intake, communications, and setup; monitor claims and escalate issues per procedures; assist with information gathering, return-to-work documentation, and communications with employers, L&I, and medical providers; review materials from employers and medical sources; pull and prepare internal/external reports; coordinate with the Brown & Brown team on financial analytics and service plans; maintain confidentiality and contribute to practice growth with proactive, organized execution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) or high school graduate with a minimum of one year of office environment experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Office365
- Excellent oral and written communications skills including telephone demeanor
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport across teams and with customers
- Experience with Washington workers' compensation claims management (preferred)
