Job Summary
Provides clerical operations support to assigned Claims Specialist(s) for workers’ compensation and related claims; responsibilities include preparing new claims files, calculating benefits (TTD, Wage Loss, VRMA, PD), issuing compensation payments on a diary schedule, issuing Benefit Notices, conducting doctor status calls and Employer/Employee contact calls, coordinating light duty/modifications with employers, assisting with litigation documents (C&R, Stipulations, Answers), preparing rehabilitation forms for filing, handling provider inquiries about unpaid bills, reviewing mail, processing direct-paid bills, and performing file/serve duties as needed; requires a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) and related experience or training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
