Job Summary
Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster II manages an assigned inventory of claim files, performs a three-point contact within 24 hours of receipt, gathers evidence to establish compensability and disability needs, partners with medical case managers to maximize early return to work, initiates referrals to SIU for suspected fraud, pursues subrogation, ensures compliance with statutes and contracts, reviews vocational rehabilitation plans, establishes and adjusts monetary reserves, reviews medical bills before InterMed processing, and maintains professional interaction with claimants, employers, and healthcare providers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) or equivalent from four-year college or; or 3-5years related experience & training, 5 years without a SIP certificate, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
