Job Summary
Manage a caseload of workers' compensation claims from intake through settlement, serving as the primary point of contact for clients while collecting, reviewing, and organizing medical records and employment information. Monitor case timelines to ensure all deadlines are met, communicate with insurance companies and opposing counsel, and prepare documentation for submission to the Division of Workers' Compensation. Assist with demand packages and settlement processes while maintaining accurate records in case management software. Collaborate with legal assistants to ensure seamless case progression under attorney supervision.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in workers' compensation or personal injury law
- Strong knowledge of Florida workers' compensation laws and procedures
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Proficiency with legal case management software
- High level of attention to detail and professionalism
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Authorization to work in the U.S. (E-Verify)
