Job Summary
Conduct depositions of physicians and medical providers, handle hearings, and litigate cases in court as necessary. Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients and update the case management system. Perform legal research using tools such as Westlaw to support case strategies and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations impacting client interests. Communicate with clients regarding case progress and legal options available while collaborating with other attorneys and staff to ensure comprehensive legal support.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction
Desired Qualifications
- Proven experience in litigation and negotiation is preferred
