Job Summary
Experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney to handle a heavy caseload and hearings in Tallahassee, FL. Responsibilities include day-to-day handling of cases and hearings, drafting and filing litigation documents (pleadings, discovery requests and responses, demands, motions and memorandum), guiding clients through the case process, interacting with expert witnesses (conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits), and attendance/preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances. Requires a law degree from an accredited law school, active Florida State Bar, minimum 3+ years of workers' compensation experience, ability to manage high-volume caseloads, excellent client service and communication, self-motivation, and superior writing and oral advocacy skills.
