Job Summary
Lead Workers’ Compensation Attorney based in Los Angeles overseeing a high-volume caseload from inception to resolution, appearing at hearings, conferences, depositions, and trials; supervising and directing a team of case managers; reviewing case manager work for accuracy and timeliness; drafting pleadings, motions, and settlement documents; evaluating cases and leading settlement negotiations; ensuring compliance with WCAB procedures and internal workflows; strong communication with clients, adjusters, opposing counsel, and medical providers; California Bar license required; opportunity to expand into a leadership role while continuing to develop litigation skills.
Required Qualifications
- Active California Bar license (required)
- Minimum 1 year of workers’ compensation experience
- Strong knowledge of WCAB procedures and California labor code
- Prior experience supervising or mentoring staff is a plus
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
