Job Summary
Senior Workers’ Compensation Attorney role in Los Angeles/CA with leadership responsibilities overseeing a team of case managers; manages full WC caseload from inception to resolution, appears at hearings, conferences, depositions, and trials, drafts pleadings and settlement documents, leads settlement negotiations, ensures WCAB procedure compliance, and communicates with clients, adjusters, opposing counsel, and medical providers.
Required Qualifications
- Active California Bar license (required)
- Minimum 1 year of workers’ compensation experience
- Strong knowledge of WCAB procedures and California labor code
- Prior experience supervising or mentoring staff is a plus
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while overseeing support staff
