Job Summary
Lead and manage a full caseload of California workers’ compensation matters from inception through resolution, appearing at hearings, conferences, depositions, and trials as required while supervising a team of case managers. Draft pleadings, motions, and settlement documents; evaluate cases and lead settlement negotiations; ensure compliance with WCAB procedures, deadlines, and internal workflows. Requires active California Bar license, at least 1 year of workers’ compensation experience, strong knowledge of WCAB procedures and California labor code, and the ability to manage high-volume caseloads with supervision of support staff. Bilingual Spanish is a plus. In-office role based in Los Angeles area with a collaborative, team-driven environment.
Required Qualifications
- Active California Bar license (required)
- Minimum 1 year of workers’ compensation experience
- Strong knowledge of WCAB procedures and California labor code
