Job Summary
Workers’ Compensation Attorney with at least 1 year of California workers’ compensation experience, in-office in California, expected to manage a full caseload from inception through resolution, supervise a team of case managers, and handle hearings, depositions, and trials. Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, motions, and settlement documents; leading settlement negotiations; ensuring WCAB procedural compliance; and maintaining client, adjuster, opposing counsel, and medical-provider communications. Qualifications include active California Bar license, strong knowledge of WCAB procedures and California labor code, ability to lead and mentor staff, and strong leadership and organizational skills; bilingual Spanish is a plus. Required Qualifications
- Active California Bar license (required)
- Minimum 1 year of workers’ compensation experience
- Strong knowledge of WCAB procedures and California labor code
- Prior experience supervising or mentoring staff is a plus
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while overseeing support staff
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
