Job Summary
Workers’ Compensation Attorney sought to join a top-tier California law firm handling catastrophic injury settlements. Associate will work with partner Tina Eshghieh to handle cases from inception to final resolution, including representing clients before the workers’ compensation appeals board, drafting legal documents, negotiating settlements, and defending depositions. The ideal candidate has experience in workers’ compensation or is willing to be trained; CA State Bar admission is required. In-person role based in Los Angeles, CA with competitive salary and benefits including 401(k), health/dental/vision insurance, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- CA State Barred and reside in California
- Experience or willingness to train in workers’ compensation handling from inception to resolution
- Represent clients before the workers’ compensation appeals board
- Prepare and draft legal documents
- Negotiate settlements
- Prepare and defend clients in depositions
- Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law
