Review claims files, medical records, and draft status reports for clients. Manage discovery, motion practice, and hearings while prioritizing multiple cases and deadlines. Maintain superior research and writing skills to support litigation strategy. Thrive under pressure in a fast-paced plaintiff litigation environment. Based in the firm's Houston, TX office with a hybrid or remote schedule negotiable within driving distance.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of comprehensive experience in workers compensation litigation in a fast paced law firm environment
- Must be a good standing member of the Texas bar
- Superior research and writing skills
- Case management skills including a strong aptitude for managing and prioritizing multiple clients, projects and deadlines
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Superior organizational skills with great follow through
- Solid analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize appropriately
- Ability to thrive under pressure and be self-motivated
- Must live within driving distance to Houston, TX
