Job Summary
Review claims files and medical records, draft status reports for clients, and conduct discovery, motion practice, and hearings. Manage and prioritize multiple clients, projects, and deadlines while utilizing superior research, writing, and analytical skills to solve complex problems. Thrive under pressure with strong multitasking abilities and excellent verbal and written communication. This onsite role in Houston, TX (remote/hybrid possible) is within a fast-paced, award-winning plaintiff litigation firm serving injured victims nationwide. The team offers a collaborative environment with mentorship opportunities for the attorney.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of comprehensive experience in workers compensation litigation in a fast paced law firm environment
- Good standing member of the Texas bar
- Superior research and writing skills
- Case management skills including a strong aptitude for managing and prioritizing multiple clients, projects and deadlines
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Superior organizational skills with great follow through
- Solid analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize appropriately
- Ability to thrive under pressure and be self-motivated
