Job Summary
Design, configure, test, and implement client business requirements in Workday Payroll modules while conducting working sessions to gather and analyze needs. Assess actual client needs, propose recommendations or alternative solutions, and identify process improvements to implement system enhancements. Troubleshoot processes, data, calculated fields, reports, and business logic, then provide knowledge transfer and develop documentation. Collaborate on team-based projects to suggest new approaches for efficient deployment and communicate lessons learned and best practices to clients. Perform research on problems, identify root causes, and present corrective measures while prioritizing conflicting demands across multiple concurrent clients. Contribute to the organization's knowledge management repository and provide guidance to team members. Complete deliverables within prescribed timelines and meet key performance indicators.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience leading and deploying Workday implementations, supporting Workday Post Production / AMS Services, or as a client of Workday
- Experience configuring Workday Payroll and Security as well as developing Custom Reports, Dashboards and Calculated Fields
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and colleagues in a remote working environment
- Some consulting skills e.g., presenting to business partners, creating documentation and technical guides, participating in workshops, explaining functionality or solutions to guide stakeholders, etc
- Experience implementing complex, practical business solutions under competing deadlines and priorities
- Demonstrated commitment and achievement to delivery excellence and client satisfaction; strong client focus with the ability to understand client needs and build relationships
- Ability to prioritize and organize work to ensure overall timeliness and quality standards with little supervision
- Ability to effectively manage against timelines, deadlines, and goals
- Proven experience demonstrating initiative and curiosity to build skills in other areas both within and outside of Workday
- Ability to be effectively and actively engaged on multiple, parallel projects and deliverables
- Capable of working within remote teams and alongside clients, as well as on individual tasks with no supervision
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to frequent change
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
- Ability to meet travel requirements (<5% a year)
