Workday Integrations and Extend Practice Lead

Job Summary
Workday Integrations and Extend Practice Lead responsible for building, leading, and growing our Workday Integrations and Extend capability. As solution architect and practice lead, you will oversee architecture, project delivery, team development, and client engagement across Core Workday Integrations (EIB, Studio, Core Connectors, Payroll Integration, RaaS, Orchestrate) and Extend applications. You will drive design, development, testing, and deployment, ensure adherence to best practices, mentor a team of integration and Extend developers/consultants, manage timelines and budgets, and partner with clients and functional leads to align technical solutions with business goals. Stay current with Workday releases, promote automation and new technologies, contribute to knowledge resources, and support business development through scoping and estimating new projects.
Required Qualifications
- 5–8+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Integrations (including EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, Web Services SOAP/REST, XSLT, XTT, WSDL/XSD, Orchestrations)
- 2+ years of hands-on experience designing and deploying Workday Extend applications
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Technical Lead on Workday projects
- Strong understanding of HCM, Payroll, Benefits, and/or Financials data structures and business processes
- Experience leading or mentoring technical teams
- Strong communication skills and ability to present technical topics to business audiences
- Workday certifications in Integration, Orchestration or Extend (a big plus but not mandatory)
