Job Summary
Workday HCM Solution Architect at Meridian (Remote in the United States). Lead end-to-end Workday workstreams (HCM, Time Tracking, Payroll) for public sector clients, translating complex requirements into scalable designs, guiding architecture decisions, mentoring consultants, and ensuring governance and client alignment. Roles include client-facing leadership, design workshops, cross-module impact analysis, and delivering reusable accelerators and governance artifacts. Requires 10+ years in HRIS/ERP with 5+ years Workday delivery, strong public sector experience, and Workday Implementer Certifications. Base salary range is $170,000–$220,000 with bonus eligible; 100% remote within the United States with up to 30% travel.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of HRIS or ERP experience, including 5+ years of Workday delivery
- Proven experience as a Workday Solution Architect, Functional Architect
- Deep functional expertise in Core HCM, Time Tracking, U.S. Payroll, Absence & Leave, Benefits & Compensation
- Strong public sector implementation experience (state, local government, or K-12)
- Demonstrated ability to design complex solutions, lead teams, and present confidently to executives
- Implementer Certifications (Workday Core HCM, Workday US Payroll, Workday Time Tracking, Workday Recruiting, Workday Learning, Pay Transparency)
