Job Summary

Support, configure, and continuously improve Workday and related people platforms while designing scalable system solutions that balance business needs with compliance requirements. Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and insights using Workday Reporting and Power BI to support operational and strategic decision-making. Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into practical system enhancements, lead testing and release activities, and identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve data quality. Investigate and resolve system issues to ensure strong governance and data integrity while supporting audit, risk, and compliance activities. This 12-month fixed-term contract is based in Auckland and covers the FY27 People Technology roadmap, including reporting uplift, learning enhancements, and process automation.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience working with Workday in a People Systems, HRIS or HR Technology role, including configuration, business process support and system enhancements
Experience developing reports, dashboards and insights using Workday Reporting
Experience with Workday Reporting
Experience with visualisation tools such as Power BI
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
The ability to simplify complexity, translating technical concepts, system changes and data into clear, practical information for a range of audiences
Experience delivering system enhancements from discovery and design through to testing and implementation
An understanding of system governance, security, risk management and controls within a regulated environment
Strong stakeholder engagement skills
A continuous improvement mindset
