Job Summary
Workday Certified HCM Consultant, Scheduling responsible for architecting, configuring, and testing Workday Scheduling solutions to meet client needs. Lead deployment teams or coach others; gather and document client requirements; design configurations; develop prototype systems; assist in testing; transfer knowledge to clients; coordinate integrations between Workday and external systems; mentor junior consultants; provide status reports; drive adoption of Workday best practices; ensure certifications are maintained; and travel ~20% as project requirements dictate. Must hold a Workday Partner Certification in Scheduling, have 4+ years of relevant experience, and possess strong communication and project-management skills.
Required Qualifications
- Current Workday Partner Certification in Scheduling
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years of experience configuring and implementing Workday Scheduling solutions
- Previous consulting experience with a consulting or software company
- Experience deploying Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, UKG, ADP, Kronos, or similar workforce management applications
- Demonstrated project management experience
- Experience designing and configuring Scheduling Rules, Shift Planning, Shift Assignment, Staffing Models, Worker Availability, Labor Optimization Processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training
- Experience deploying multiple HCM or Workforce Management projects simultaneously is a plus
- Expected travel is approximately 20%
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with end-to-end Workday deployments; Experience integrating Scheduling with Time Tracking, Absence, Payroll, and Core HCM; Experience leading client workshops, solution demonstrations, and design sessions
- Ability to mentor junior consultants and contribute to practice development initiatives
- Strong understanding of workforce planning, labor scheduling, and operational staffing requirements across multiple industries
