Job Summary
Conduct vocational supports for individuals with disabilities by developing personalized activities, documenting Single Plan progress, and ensuring compliance with safety and labor standards. Provide direct service, manage medication assistance, and maintain accurate production and wage records while collaborating with supervisors to meet contractual goals. Work 40 hours per week, primarily 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with flexibility for evening and weekend shifts as needed. Report to the Work Supports Instructor Supervisor or WSI III, adhering to all Babcock Center policies and safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid South Carolina drivers license
- Good driving record
- Maintain approved driving privileges with Babcock Center
- Must be able to deal with stress associated with fast-paced work environment and multi-tasking
- Formulate decisions and act upon them

- Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information

- Must be able to participate on safety committee as directed by Supervisor
- Must be able to maintain care in the handling and maintenance of contract supplies, materials, and equipment
- Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of basic Department Of Labor (DOL) standards
- Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of basic licensing and day program standards as developed by DDSN
- Must be able to use resources efficiently
- Must be able to offer suggestions for more efficient use of resources as identified
