Job Summary
Lead low to medium-risk infrastructure and construction projects from initiation through closeout. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, risk registers, action logs, and status reports while monitoring scope, budget, schedule, resources, and overall performance. Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, construction, and regulatory stakeholders to manage risks, issues, and dependencies. Build relationships with internal stakeholders, field crews, engineers, and external partners. Prepare project reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics using Excel and Power BI to analyze large datasets for decision support. Ensure compliance with BC Hydro policies, safety standards, and project management methodologies. Support project closeout activities, lessons learned, and post-implementation reviews.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of Project or Program Management experience
- Experience managing project deliverables, schedules, budgets, and project risks
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and relationship management skills
- Ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience using Power BI for reporting and analytics
- Strong analytical skills with experience working with large datasets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Engineering degree
- 5+ years of Project or Program Management experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP®) designation
- Infrastructure, utility, or energy industry experience
- Contract management experience
- Experience using Microsoft Project and other project management tools
