Job Summary
Lead cross-functional teams to manage low to medium risk infrastructure projects up to $20 million, covering planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout phases. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets while monitoring benefits, resources, and risks to ensure alignment with scope, timelines, and financial targets. Coordinate activities across engineering, quality assurance, and stakeholder engagement teams, preparing documentation including charters, communication plans, and status reports. Maintain meaningful relationships with contractors and field crews, proactively resolving issues and escalating risks as appropriate. Utilize intermediate Microsoft Office skills and project management tools to track performance against key milestones. Provide clear written, verbal, and presentation updates to stakeholders and leadership. Support regulatory approvals and engagement with Indigenous communities. Operate within a structured utility environment requiring strong coordination and reporting capabilities. Submit applications within five business days of March 5, 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum five (5) years of project management experience or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or related discipline
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills suitable for a professional environment
- Must be located in British Columbia
- Experience with SharePoint, MS Lists, or similar tracking tools
- SAP experience (view-only), including viewing material data and extracting information for trackers
- Strong Excel proficiency
- Understanding of basic project management principles (task tracking, schedules, dependencies, risk awareness)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Project Management Professional (PMP®) designation
- Experience delivering infrastructure projects within a utility, transmission, or construction environment
- Exposure to Transmission, Distribution, or material support environments
- Familiarity with large infrastructure or utility program delivery structures
