Work Permit Coordinator

Job Summary
Coordinate, evaluate, and manage work permits for maintenance, project, and modification activities to ensure safe initiation, execution, and completion of tasks. Inspect work locations and verify safety measures prior to job start, while monitoring contractor and internal team compliance with permit processes. Enforce Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) and energy isolation protocols, conduct work area inspections, and intervene in unsafe situations by halting operations as necessary. Support safety inspections, incident investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives within the HSE organization. Requires MVK diploma, two years of industry experience, and fluency in Dutch and English. Schedule includes day and evening shifts with flexibility during maintenance stops.
Required Qualifications
- Afgerond diploma Middelbare Veiligheidskunde (MVK)
- Minimaal 2 jaar relevante werkervaring binnen industrie, haven, petrochemie, energie of logistiek
- Ervaring met werkvergunningen, contractor management of onderhoudsorganisaties
- Kennis van risicoanalyses, TRA's, LOTO-processen en veiligheidsbeheersmaatregelen
- Goede communicatieve vaardigheden in het Nederlands en Engels
- Zelfstandig, nauwkeurig en besluitvaardig met een sterke focus op veiligheid
- Affiniteit met technische installaties en onderhoudswerkzaamheden
- Bereidheid om te werken in een rooster van dag- en avonddiensten
- Flexibel inzetbaar tijdens onderhoudsstops en kritische werkzaamheden
- VOG voor te leggen
