Work Inspector -Structure

Job Summary
Inspect structural works on-site including concrete, steel, formwork, rebar, and precast elements. Monitor contractors to ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications. Report non-conformances and delays to Site Engineer or Resident Engineer. Witness material testing and implement quality control procedures. Maintain site records, review contractor's daily reports, and coordinate with other inspectors. Participate in meetings and assist in reviewing method statements and ITPs while ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in inspecting structural works
- Knowledge of concrete, steel, formwork, rebar
- Familiarity with civil infrastructure standards
- Ability to report non-conformances
- Experience in material testing and quality control
- Strong record-keeping skills
- Ability to review contractor’s reports
- Coordination skills with other disciplines
- Participation in technical and progress meetings
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
