Job Summary

Answer customer inquiries via email, phone, and letter regarding defective items, online orders, and order placement issues. Resolve problems by placing initial and replacement orders, processing online credits, and issuing cash refund checks or appeasements. Research potential fraud cases daily and partner with the Distribution Center and corporate ecommerce team to address exceptions and backorders. Maintain a shared returns log, compose professional written documents, and model company values while remaining responsive to frustrated customers. Work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings, with mandatory paid remote training followed by on-site equipment pickup. This seasonal opportunity supports Wolverine Worldwide's public relations function and customer service expectations.

Required Qualifications

100% Remote
Must be able to commute to the corporate facility in Rockford, MI for equipment pickup/exchanges and tech support as needed
Adequate home internet speed
Must be available on either Saturday or Sunday from 9am-6pm
Hours are 12pm-9pm on the weekdays and 9am-6pm on the weekends
Minimum Required Typing Speed: 50 WPM
Must be responsive in a timely manner
Must be able to compose and proof read written documents/emails at a professional level
Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
Must be able to resolve issues from a Company perspective
Must be able to remain calm and professional while engaging in stressful interactions
Must be available to work a flexible schedule to include Saturday and/or Sunday, and evenings during the week
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Creative problem solving skills
Ability to follow through with solutions in a timely manner
Thorough understanding of the computer programs used as tools to assist and service the customer
