Job Summary
Guide Work-Based Learning initiatives by handling Work Experience approvals, tracking On-the-Job Training and Incumbent worker grant technical assistance, and functioning as the local area youth lead. Develop, update, and implement policies, procedures, and guidance materials to support program effectiveness and compliance while ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations. Facilitate Youth Services Council Meetings and manage outreach, events, and partnerships to enhance program performance. This role provides strategic and operational support to workforce programs delivered through NCWorks Career Centers and the Business Engagement team, aiming to improve service delivery and achieve positive employment outcomes for job seekers and employers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, and management
- considerable experience related to the position
- considerable knowledge of policies and procedures governing the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA)
- ability to work independently
- ability to review information for accuracy and consistency
- ability to interpret regulations
- ability to determine when to seek guidance from superiors
- strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- six-month probationary employment period
