Job Summary
Lead and coordinate overnight production activities at the Allansford cheese manufacturing site to achieve operational targets while maintaining safety, quality, and GMP standards. Coach and develop production operators, troubleshoot issues, and liaise with maintenance and quality teams to ensure smooth outcomes. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensure accurate system data entry, and support effective shift handovers with Production Supervisor relief. Work Monday to Friday on the 10:00pm to 6:05am night shift roster as a hands-on leader in a global dairy environment.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience leading teams within manufacturing, food processing or a similar production environment
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor and develop team members
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Experience using SAP or similar production systems
- A strong commitment to workplace safety, food safety and quality standards
- Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to drive positive change
- Australian working rights at the time of applying
- Monday to Friday night shift roster (10:00pm – 6:05am)
