Work and Skills Floating Support Volunteer

As an Employability and Wellbeing Volunteer, you will help deliver workshops, engage with local employers and community partners, and provide practical support to individuals on their journey towards achieving their goals. Key duties include delivering employability and wellbeing activities across York and North Yorkshire, organizing and facilitating workshops on employment, confidence, health, and financial wellbeing, offering encouragement and practical support to overcome barriers to employment, representing the organisation at community events, developing relationships with local employers, engaging with employers to promote service user strengths, challenging stigma, contributing to a person-centred IPS-informed approach, participating in mock interviews with constructive feedback, collaborating with community organisations to strengthen local opportunities, supporting both office-based and remote activities in a hybrid model, and assisting with caseload management under team guidance. This role includes travel reimbursement and access to training, development, and supervision.
