Job Summary
WordPress Developer responsible for building, customizing, and optimizing high-performing WordPress websites using Elementor, Divi, and WPBakery. Role involves plugin and theme development, performance optimization, security, and collaboration with marketing and design teams to deliver fast, secure, and conversion-ready sites. Responsibilities include creating custom templates, maintaining child themes, improving Core Web Vitals, implementing caching and CDN integrations, and ensuring accessibility (WCAG) and cross-browser compatibility.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years WordPress development experience
- Strong skills in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience with Elementor, Divi, WPBakery
- Experience with hosting platforms: cPanel, WP Engine, SiteGround, Kinsta
- Knowledge of WooCommerce, Yoast SEO, and Contact Form 7
- Ability to build and customize WordPress themes and plugins
- Experience with performance optimization, caching, and Core Web Vitals
- Understanding of security best practices (Wordfence, Sucuri)
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows
- Ability to collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams
